Lots of WiP

Ok, so I got a few rank and file done, but who am I kidding, they won't be interesting till they are painted.

I have however started on some more characters for my Army.

Shaman and Beastlord.

Test Mini/Beastlord with Brass Cleaver WiP

Needed to get something up here to look at. This was a huge difference from painting Space Marines or any other unit type that is painted in shaded blocks. I was amazed at how difficult it was to adjust to painting something that is not armor.

Anyway, base will either end up with grass or snow, haven't decided.

Over the weekend: Cement

Over the weekend I had drill, was 4 days and lots of cement. Go Army. Built a nice loading ramp.

As for the Beastmen, no progress over the weekend due to the aforementioned drill. However, Sunday night I was able to get the store and pick up an old Beastmen Herd, Battalion, another box of Gors and a box of Bestigors. Tuesday I plan to head down to another shop and pick up another Beastmen Battalion box.

Combined with some filler for the Bestigors leaving me with a few bodies to use for conversions to Beastlord/Wargor/BSB and some regular Gor bodies to use as Shamans I should be set to go.

My list at 1500 is looking something like:

Beastlord

BSB

Shaman

Shaman

2x 30 Gors w/ Command
1x 30 Bestigor w/ Command and Banner of Eternal Flame

I suppose a picture is expected so here is the Gor I started prior to leaving. Yes it's off my cellphone camera.

Today was the day that I made armor...sort of...

Day One of my Beastmen Army commences with my conversion of a single Gor, adding some armor with greenstuff is about as far as it got today.

Since I have drill over the weekend I won't get any further until Monday, I'm planning to re-pose him as well.
